Owner/Director/Head Instructor Lori Larson holds professional certifications from PATH Intl. as a Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor and is an Eagala certified Equine Specialist. She has decades of experience as a rider and instructor, as well as with individuals with mental health needs, those on the the Autism Spectrum, and members of the community of all ages, experience, and abilities.

It has been her lifelong dream to create a safe, peaceful place for horses that needed healing, and for humans to learn to connect with horses and find their own peace, healing, and joy. She and her husband made the leap in 2017 to buy a horse farm in the Hudson Valley and moved from NYC to renovate a 100 year old barn on a magical property in Newburgh. Our amazing herd all come from backgrounds of abuse, neglect or saved from slaughter. Their rehabilitation- physical and emotional- has been our biggest priority and we are so proud of their ability to not only be able to trust again, but give so much of their hearts to us and our incredible students.

They prove our motto- “Don’t just survive…thrive!”
